Hi Janine
No I dont know Jayne it would be good to hook up with her if I can help. i must admit as an occupational therapist and a life coach I really do believe that there so much that can be done even before chronic care is required in terms of supporting people with healthier coping mechanisms, stress and anxiety management, support with life balance. Not sure what has been happening in chronic care. What is Flinders? Many thanks, Liz
Hi Janine
Have not explored yet but will over the coming weeks. Hope this resource helps others. If I have anything to contribute I certainly will. Many thanks. Take care, Liz
Hi Janine,
Things going well in Whangarei - just finishing off my Masters.
Flinders is still being used in Manaia with CarePlus.
Look forward to seeing the changes to the tools.
Kind Regards
Jayne
The website is looking great. A couple of weeks ago now, you asked if I, or the any of my colleagues would be interested in working on a page for chronic pain and its management. I have put it out to the OT chronic pain SIG and myself and another colleague would be very interested in doing something/working with you put something together. Sorry, I am aware that it has been several weeks since we last communicated about this - are you still looking for some help with this? Cheers Catherine
I am a nurse practitioner working in the Tauranga area- implementing Care Plus seems to be the main aim of the PHO here around Chronic conditions. We have a mobile Maori nursing service who do a great job providing health promotion and education to Hauora clients and Maori who have difficulty accessing GP services.
I am also involved in producing a Nurse Led Clinic education module for PHC nurses and a CVD pharmacology education DVD. So lots to do!...Be great to get some consumer feedback around how they see self management concepts working for them
Janine
I wondered if anyone would be interested in reviewing a 4 hour online professional development paper I have put together on and intro to SM. I was asked to write this for a company called CHESS who are based in New Plymouth. Not quite finished but should be in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks Janine. I look forward to the conversations!
I may be wrong but would I be right in thinking there has not been much activity on this site recently or am I missing something?
