more common, however the health system is
primarily designed to treat single diseases.
A strong primary care system with the support of a multi-professional team is a key way of providing holistic, long-term care for people with multiple disorders,maximizing quality of life and minimizing disability and morbidity. This requires health services and
systems to be designed specifically to support
people.
