Dr. Caroline Stretton is currently a senior lecturer in the School of Interprofessional Studies and Programme Leader of the Case Management programme. Caroline's background is in neurological physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Caroline completed her PhD in 2018 with a project titled 'Walking for wellbeing after stroke'. She received a Laura Fergusson Trust PhD Scholarship to enable her to complete this research. Caroline is also a member of the Centre for Person-centred research (PCR) which is part of the School of Clinical Sciences. Before completing her PhD, Caroline worked as a senior lecturer teaching in physiotherapy. Prior to starting her academic career, she worked clinically in rehabilitation and older person's health. Her passion is to develop innovative rehabilitation interventions that make a meaningful difference for people with long-term conditions.
