Interesting paper from NZ group about the issues of control and how this is perceived by clinicians with regard to self-management support.

In their analysis, "a consistent finding across studies is that ‘control’ is a key feature of how self-management is viewed by clinicians. They described challenges associated with the paradigm shift required to share or let go of control..."

Take a look and let us know what you think and how can we best support the paradigm shift that is required to share in decision-making and shift control back to patients/clients.
