This symposium is for health care quality improvement practitioners and focuses on the science of health care improvement, by highlighting improvement methodology.

This year’s theme: From knowledge to action: ready, set, grow, focuses on growing, harvesting and sharing the knowledge that will drive improvement action across all fields of health care.

Participants will:

• share what has been learned from applying scientific methods to health and health care improvement
• network with colleagues interested in using scientific methods to improve health and health care
• discuss challenges in applying and disseminating scientific approaches to health and health care improvement
• create a common understanding of how to apply and disseminate scientific methods to improve health and health care.
